Testimonial
Nanda Voortman
Head of Human Resources, Western Europe Area
"BAT is an extremely inspiring blend of international people, working together in a professional but hugely informal setting. Opportunities are available at all times, to learn and grow, all it takes is courage, support from others and shaping the opportunity to challenge yourself.
In my role as Head of HR I have the chance to work with a lot of different people that work together as cohesive teams and are strengthened by the fact that every member is unique and contributes accordingly. Each and every one of them have different cultures and backgrounds which influences the way you work. In a way I would describe that we expect people just to be themselves and perform, deliver and enjoy. On the flip side being in a global organisation requires globally aligned processes and systems and I am always positively surprised by the fact how people tend to think 'alike' across BAT, something you recognize immediately when you walk into a new BAT office in a different country for the first time, you really feel welcome and at home in a way!"
